Losing weight
Despite of lamenting on my weight, I have decided to do something about it. Since high school, my weight has ballooned from 48kg to 60kg over a few months. It's almost impossible to imagine someone like me used to only weigh 48kg. Nevertheless, since this week, I have resolved to hit the gym at least twice a week and to complete 10km on the treadmill every visit. However, this is a far cry from last year. There was a period of time (nearly three consecutive months) last year when I woke up at 6am every morning without fail to go to the gym or swimming pool and worked out for at least an hour before my lessons. Perhaps, it's time I should be returning back to my previous routine as it's more effective. Yes, it's tiring and the activation energy is huge but it also easier to get hooked on the routine. Building muscles in the gym also allows me to burn fat even when I am not actively working out. I really want to get back in shape very badly... |
